When wildfire smoke pushes air quality to unhealthy levels, downtown Chelan loses more than foot traffic. Residents lose a safe place to gather, and merchants lose the chance to connect with their community. The Chelan Summer Social is HDCA’s answer: a free, indoor pop-up where everyone can get out of the smoke, spend time together, and support the businesses that make downtown what it is. It wouldn’t be possible without Campbell’s Resort who generously stepped up as presenting sponsor to host, and to our media partner KOZI Community Radio getting the word out!
